Timing.

This couple made sure that it was each other that they really wanted. A few years of being together and a kid after, JP and Hana finally found themselves in front of the altar, strengthening and sealing their bond before God.

One week before their wedding, the groom's sister got in touch with me. It would be my third time to celebrate an occasion with this family. First it was the sister, Dr. Marifi Mendoza-Martinez' wedding, second was the debut of their cousin, Fae Marquez. To handle an occasion of the family for the third time was a breeze. It was like celebrating with family. A reunion of sorts. A lot of familiar faces and then some additional members of the family.

An intimate affair it was. All the gentlemen were dashing in their suits, while the ladies were ravishing in their gowns.

A beautiful day it was for a wedding. Bright and sunny. The couple, unstressed as we began our day in the bridal room. Who would think that this couple encountered problems with their contracted hair and make-up artist 2 days before their wedding. They only had one standing order for the day: NO ENTRY to this supplier of theirs. Good for them, their Ate Marifi just had to call her reliable make-up artist and voila! The bride was blusihing and smiling on her special day.

Though the wedding was early in the morning, the entourage and guests were quite early and all were just wearing their happiest faces. It was a celebration that everyone was looking forward to. That these two lovebirds will finally come before God to unite themselves in the sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
